successful track record.DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Regularly visits all job sites to review safety compliance and
maintains an active log of all visits and findings; conducts safety
meetings, audits, and inspections, evaluates performance,
identifies corrective action, and implements follow-up assessments.
- Teaches Field Leaders how to appropriately and efficiently
conduct safety meetings, job site inspections, identify root causes
& implement corrective action.
- Collaborate with the Estimating and project team in the
estimating and preconstruction process to determine the various
levels of safety planning needed for the project.
- Attends and actively participates in project Kick-off and
monthly Business Review meetings.
- Audit Site Safety Binders for compliance and make
recommendations for improvement.
- Periodically attends and monitors compliance of weekly toolbox
talks and maintenance of proper recordkeeping.
- Develop, execute, and maintain health and safety plans,
corporate safety manuals, and crisis management plans ensuring
compliance with all legal guidelines and regulations.
- Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure
project-specific safety binder and document storage systems are
established for each project and prepared timely.
- Coordinates, schedules, and facilitates subcontractor's
pre-construction safety planning meetings.
- Reviews Subcontractor's certifications, Site Specific Safety
Programs, and Job Hazard Analysis before subcontractor
mobilization.
- Reviews documentation from subcontractors for the proper
training of their employees as related to the scope of work.
- Reviews project Hazmat Reports for quality and completeness.
- Performs accident investigations in the event of a job site
accident.
- Prepare and enforce policies and introduce and implement
activities to establish an embedded culture of health and safety.
- Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk
and adherence to the law.
- Facilitate training and presentations for health and safety
matters and accident prevention.
- Review Company Site-Specific Safety Plans.
- Create and manage a safety forecast budget for consumables and
training.
- Ensure the inspection of equipment and machinery for possible
unsafe conditions.
- Serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident
notification, investigation, and case management.
- Liaise with insurance business partners; create and develop
risk management plans; attend bi-annual conferences; travel as
required.
- Partners with Human Resources on the management of GL/WC
claims, identification of claim trends, and proactive risk
management planning.
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or
new prevention measures
- Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
- Captures and evaluates safety & compliance findings. Utilizes
the same to identify and implement continuous improvement programs.
- Presents safety & compliance findings to the Leadership Team
every quarter - utilizes relevant and factual data to communicate
trends, areas for improvement and forward trainingMeasures of

- Target zero safety incidents in the workplace
- Licensure/certifications for team members are valid and up to
date
- Health & Safety program is in compliance with OSHA and other
legal requirementsProfile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Safety, Occupational Health
and Safety, or related discipline preferred.
- 5 years of related work experience in the field of construction
safety with demonstrated expertise in construction and safety
technologies and practices.
- OSHA 30 + First Aid/CPR certified.
- Excellent understanding of occupational health and safety
guidelines and regulations.
- Proficient in data analysis and risk assessments.
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems when unforeseen
circumstances arise.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Job Offer
